Disney buys Marvel for 4 billion!?

So I get a text message from my friend an hour ago saying that the Disney company bought Marvel Comics for 4 Billion dollars. We both work for Disney and got to thinking...wait a minute, didn't we just layoff thousands of cast members early this year? Where the hell is Disney coming up with 4 billion?!

Apparently they want to appeal to the male fans which is why they chose to buy Marvel, but I don't know if I like this or not. I'm hearing rumors at work that they plan on taking away the little company parties that they have for us "little people" cause they don't have the budget for it. Ohhhhhhhhh really? Well they can certainly pull 4 billion from out of their ass but not spend under a grand for a little party to say "Hey, thanks for all your hard work guys, you don't get paid enough for what you do and we appreciate it".

ARGH. / end rant.
